Pros

Small group, you get thrown into the fire so you pick up a lot of skill sets by default. Some nice employees. If you have no hopes of excelling or don’t want growth in your career than this is the place for you.

Cons

Stingy about vacation. There is virtually no vacation time. What you get promised in interviews or yearly reviews don’t get followed through with. Some people get handled with care and get all the considerations even though they are difficult to work with. Others are expected to work through the tantrums these people bring to the plate, no matter how unprofessional and rude they are. No overtime pay but expect to work overtime on a regular basis. They will tell you that they don’t encourage it but the way the management structures their projects, you will work overtime. Only a select few do design. The rest of the group are over qualified drafters with a better pay than drafters.

Pros

ajc architects takes great pride in finding and hiring the best employees. The interview process is detailed and is equally focused around cultural fit and qualifications. Employees at ajc have the opportunity of a flexible work week, amazing projects, competitive pay and benefits. Leadership is amazing and growth opportunities are available at every level.

Cons

There are no negatives and for a firm that has been established for over 30 years, I credit the ajc team for continually learning and improving the business and the opportunities provided to staff.

Pros

I loved working at ajc. The work was interesting and varied. The people are incredible and so fun to talk to. Really understanding and flexible with your schedule. Just make sure you're a good employee so you get the good projects

Cons

Always a little drama behind the scenes. Overall, I think the upper level people are just too busy, so they became unresponsive if you needed something. It seemed the most exciting projects went to the principal's favorites. Paid lower than same position at other companies
