      Pros

      The benefits and pay were average overall with a good 401k plan and matching.

      Cons

      Poorly managed company with constant financial challenges, poor morale and constant layoffs and restructuring. Poor underwriting practices, programs and policies. IT systems are some of the worst I have ever seen for an insurance carrier.

      The 401(k) matching contribution is excellent.

      Cons

      Commuting to New York City four days per week. The schedule does not allow for remote work.
