Pros
I joined the company not long after the current owners bought the business. I took the job because I liked many of the people I met before joining. Sadly, many of those people have left, but I've never worked someplace where the management team is so dedicated to bringing on good new people. While it's been challenging to see the "old guard" leave, it is remarkably refreshing to see what a difference it has made now that our company has a strict focus on hiring people who care about teamwork. I get regular feedback on how I'm doing, I get a ton of information on how the company and my team are performing, I get asked to help work on improvements for our team and our customer service, and I get listened to when I have suggestions (though, admittedly, I also get politely called out if I'm just complaining unproductively). I haven't been lucky enough to find a perfect job yet in my career, but I love the people I work with and am genuinely excited every day to take on new challenges and see how we can grow as a team.
Cons
Change is challenging, and sometimes good people get overwhelmed. I've seen vast improvement in how changes are communicated in our company, but sometimes I wish the need for change would slow down a little (I think that's more indicative of our industry evolving and our company being determined to stay ahead of it).
