Pros
I'm fortunate to work in a supportive directorate, I feel like there is strong leadership and a culture of psychological safety which allows the team to feel comfortable taking on ambitious projects and motivated to be the best we can be. I enjoy the work I do, and the people I work with. ADNOC has some of the best employee benefits in the country that I know of, including competitive packages, performance based bonus cycles, flexitime, work from home policies plus a big range of discounts. There is a strong focus on internal mobility, and retention of employees seems to be high because of this.
Cons
Because of the size of the organisation, and the new technologies being added, it can be hard to find information sometimes and complete simple tasks. The office is finished to a high spec, but I found the seats to be a little uncomfortable so I hope to swap this out. I also prefer working with a second screen, which was not provided but I brought in my own and issue solved.
