Pros

Some RBTs were supportive and tried to create a positive work environment despite the toxic environment and poor leadership.

Cons

- They will dock you pay without telling you as punishment. I have seen staff being docked up to $11 an hour. They will not warn you of this and the company does not post pay stubs in a timely manner. This will leave you confused and scrambling. They will also remove your benefits as punishment leaving you without healthcare, paid holidays, or PTO. They will punish staff for anything they see fit. - The clinic has had multiple issues with cleanliness and pests, including rat infestations and roaches. droppings were found many times in the clinic where children play and carpets were never cleaned. This raises serious health concerns. -They make staff clean the clinic after your last session without billing for it. when staff raised concerns they said it was paid out by your weekly admin hour. Unfortunately, the admin hour is not enough time to complete chores everyday and keep up with admin tasks. They also changed the admin pay from your regular rate to minimum wage without notice to staff. They did the same thing with drive time pay. - PTO is taken if you don't work 30 hours a week. You will have times when your client is out and you have no choice but to use your PTO because there isn't always a session to pick up. If you don't have PTO, you will receive a pay cut, lose your healthcare and benefits as they move you to a part time employee, and you will not be allowed to bill any admin time but they will still require admin tasks out of you. - Admin staff are unprofessional, frequently rude, and dismissive. They make passive aggressive posts on internal communication channels and complain when staff ask for clarification or raise concerns. Staff are told not to call or message admin with questions. Teams posts commonly go unanswered for days at a time. Sometimes they are unanswered all together. -The owner appears frequently confused and disorganized. BCBAs have expressed concern over this, which directly impacts the company's structure and consistency. -Ethical violations. staff were instructed to homeschool clients, which BCBAs have stated is both unethical and potentially fraudulent. Staff were instructed to use specific wording in there session notes to hide this. You will also not always receive your required 5% supervision. When you do have supervision, BCBAs are commonly in other rooms and not paying attention to the RBT they are supervising. Dual relationships have been allowed. two RBTs went on a cruise with a family (that the family paid for) and provided services without billing. There are countless other violations that can put your standing with the board at risk. -There are times when you will be working with violent clients. There is no self regulation room and staff are not PCM trained. You will be left to take punches to the head, items thrown at you, spit on, etc. clients have even tried to push staff down the stairs. BCBAs have advocated for a self regulation room but are constantly denied by the owner. -HIPAA. This is not respected at the company. Staff family members are often in the clinic when therapy is taking place. maintenance people and the landlord go into therapy rooms and have even given tours to people during the work day. Old staff members also come to the clinic to hang out. These things are inappropriate for an ABA clinic. -The company has a toxic work culture fueled by gossip, which leadership fails to address. instead of resolving issues, management's approach often makes the situation worse and creates even more drama. The environment feels unsafe and unprofessional. Admin fails to set any real standards for professionalism or respect. It's a place where negativity thrives.
