Management not understanding product Management having little technical knowledge Management following Chris croft training courses to the letter Management not recognising or caring about staff morale Forced redundancies for positions that are still necessary. To sum this up get this: the HR departments target to meet their bonus was to increase staff turnover. In a company that's grown from a handful of people in less than a decade all this achieves is losing incredibly valuable skillset. Customer satisfaction has fallen dramatically and mistakes were evident multiple times daily. Most of the people making decisions in this company think their own thoughts are gospel and have no capacity for working with people. Common sense is scarce as all the people with any are jumping ship. The products this company make were truly amazing and there are some wonderful minds here but I fear the skillset or service offered will never be what it was now. Internal hiring without advertising vacancies or without interviews. Everything else. People are unable to use a £5k tap which dispenses hot water properly and keep breaking it. This gets replaced every time but people on 4 times that as their salary get made redundant. This company has used covid as an excuse for redundancies, they never even shut down in March.

Great place to gain experience as a graduate, suitable for people who would like to take on responsibility Friendly people Interesting product line

Cons

Knowledge transfer is completely peer-to-peer, any documentation is either obsolete or non-existent. Pay below average, does not reflect responsibility Abysmal management communication, and questionable business decisions. This management style makes the engineers non-productive.
