Pay a little lower for San Diego

At the time the health insurance was 100% employer paid, for both the employee and their dependents. PTO was decent. 8 or 9 holidays at the time, I believe there are more paid holidays now. Coworkers and middle management were fantastic. Most employees had been with the company 10+ years and enjoyed their departments and positions. Offered many opportunities to learn, grow, and move into new roles and tasks. I enjoyed my time there and attribute my employment and business successes to the experience I gained from working there.

Family owned and operated up until recently, While great for many reasons, a lot of processes, chains of command, etc. were outdated or inefficient. Leadership felt less corporate and more personal at times, for better or worse.
