Pros
Good people who care about each other and the work. Great work/life balance and a remote-first workplace.
Cons
Very little strategic vision or direction. The passion and enthusiasm have slowly declined ever since the merger in 2020. Mediocre work. Feels like leadership is content with "good enough" vs. willing to go above and beyond, motivating and challenging staff to knock it out of the park. The holding company wants to cut its way to profitability vs. investing in the talent and resources required to right the ship. The former CEO was tone-deaf, lacked the trust of his staff, and did not have a strong grasp of what it takes to lead a fully integrated agency. He was recently let go by the holding company after four years of stagnant growth. Hopefully, a new CEO hire will be able to turn things around, but I suspect that the holding company is bringing in a new leader to try and fix what's broken and get it profitable enough to sell.
