Pros
During my part-time 9 month marketing internship I have been working one day a week as FINITE's Community Manager for marketers in the B2B technology sector, which was launched back in October when I began. Overall the experience has been invaluable and I have enjoyed every challenge that has been thrown in my direction. Each day has been different, from organising FINITE’s evening events to planning content for the companies social calendars, acting as a source of communication via platforms like MeetUp, helping carry out the ‘GutenBrain’ April Fools Campaign to filming and editing promo-videos. On reflection I have learnt so much, considering I had minimal knowledge about the industry prior my internship, and become accustomed to using key marketing tools like Hubspot and Teamwork. The immediate sense of responsibility I was granted as well as the respect and friendliness received from the team in 93digitals vibrant, fun office environment made me look forward to coming into work each week. Everyone was very sociable and approachable, especially the marketing director, my boss, who helped nurture and guide me through my set tasks whilst valuing my opinions and skills to offer at the same time. Working at the Record Hall Studios in Farringdon, just off Leather Lane Food Market has also been great, located in the buzzing, professional city centre with endless options to eat for lunch. Overall the companies hard-working, focused yet relaxed approach is extremely admirable and I would recommend working at 93digital to anyone, especially if you want to gain experience in digital marketing. I feel very lucky to have been given this amazing opportunity!
