Pros
Some colleagues were more friendly and welcoming than others...
Cons
I was hired to be a SRE for market research; this was clearly a SRM role for PR research as I did not work on any market research throughout my duration at 3Gem. During the interview, I was told this was a market research role and I might "lightly touch" on PR; which was clearly false. There was also confusion on what was required from a SRE as they thought SRE and RM were at the same level. When I flagged this at the beginning, I was told job titles and salary are all "fluid" - it seems that they just wanted to have a senior RM at a base rate of an SRE. There is also a clear lack of communication in the agency; it didn't help that they didn't use Teams and often ignored me on WhatsApp so I didn't have anyone to reach out to for any questions. They seem to be a small agency that don't really know what they are doing (which was clear in the in-person company meetings when everyone was just yelling over each other and panicking about the lack of business). I strongly recommend anyone reading this to not work here; there are plenty of other boutique agencies to work for without this level of toxicity.
