Thank you for your feedback. I’m happy you enjoyed the 4-day week and that your experience with some of our staff was very positive.
Sometimes an organization is not a good fit for everyone, and I’m sorry you feel the way you do. At ECP, our staff does their best to maintain the great organizational culture we have worked so hard to build. However, we recognize there’s always room for improvement and will continue to do so. For example, in the last two years, we instituted mandatory training in several areas to improve managerial skills, including micro vs. hands-on management training.
We launched the ARDI (Anti-racism, Discrimination, and Inclusion) committee to foster diversity and inclusion within the organization and in the material we present to our diverse audiences worldwide. This committee has been instrumental in providing mandatory online training for all staff in many areas, such as Anti-racism, Unconscious Bias, Inclusion and Covering, Privilege, Skills for Inclusive Conversations, Women's History, Disability Awareness, Autism Awareness, Black History Month, National Hispanic Heritage Month, Neurodiversity, LBGTQ Pride Month, and Mental Health and Wellness, among others.
As far as a given credit to whom credit is due, I wholeheartedly agree. If someone took credit for something you did at any point, I’m sorry, and if it had been brought to my attention, I would have corrected it. Everyone should be recognized for their contributions.
