I was lucky to have a great manager, but overall the company is toxic.

Pros

Some talented folks, some established process that works, I learned a lot, free snacks and lunches. There were a handful of folks who were really great to work with, taught me a lot, and made coming to work fun sometimes.

Cons

The toxic environment outweighed all the positives I experienced. A handful of individuals get special treatment for being buddies with leadership, and those people aren't held accountable to anything. Every day there is some new ridiculous drama. The CEO is a bully. Many people who produce real work are not recognized. I never felt that Edgenet cared about me as an employee or person, only certain individuals I worked with closely made me feel appreciated.

Pros

Office located next to Black Abbey. Nothing else stand out as noteworthy.

Cons

Based on the tone and ludicrous "pros" in nearly every positive review, I'd assume that most were written by the CEO or someone from his inner-circle. Edgenet unfortunately has the most unhealthy, toxic culture that I've ever witnessed or heard of. The CEO is what he's described to be in the true, negative reviews - manipulative bully, controlling micro-manager, doesn't allow for work/life balance, and hot head who tries to lead through fear. A few of his antics that I witnessed or have heard about since getting out as soon as I could: misleading interviews and promises, reorgs to hide/protect the favorites who provide little value to the business, pressures sales team to come in on weekends, towed a reps' car, didn't allow someone to drink the office coffee for some time, constantly threatening to fire/demote people, and there are many more. In my opinion, the product is extremely outdated/clunky, execs lack basic leadership skills and experience in general, and their is zero strategy to grow the business while main competitor continues to dominate and gain market share. Everything is smoke and mirrors resulting in high turnover, it's so bad that many have left without another job lined up. I didn't put up with it for too long and am writing this review to hopefully save others from what myself and others had to deal with on a daily basis. Do yourself/family a favor and stay away from this place.
