You learn how to do things quickly due to a forceful lack of resources with continued high expectations. Some relationships built there are good. People who go through fire together come out closer.

Cons

The environment is oppressive, expectations are unreasonable, management is unrelentingly cruel. Ethical lines and practices get blurred or flat out crossed.
