Terrible new coo

Pros

Customers, associates , and fun product

Cons

The new COO is the most negative person I've ever met. Increased workload by 20% with idiotic ideas like alphabetizing product. Signing everything without providing signs, so the stores have to make them themselves. All this while reducing workforce and increasing inventory. There is absolutely no way to keep the store clean, run freight and provide customer service. We are told to provide better customer service, then our payroll gets cut and then a myriad of new tasks that absolutley do not move the needle on sales. The environment is more hostile than ever, and the pay is very low. Store Managers make maybe 50k if lucky and end up working 7 days a week to get half of the job done. We are then told we have to work every Friday and Saturday night. This guy comes from Academy sports which has employees in every department. We are lucky to have 3 people including management working the entire store. We spend about 1/4 to 1/5 of our time shiping product from store to store for. They have no ability to adjust inventory based on store size, so the big store look empty and the small stores are packed to the ceiling with freight and those stores are unshopable.
