      Pros

      You will learn a lot from the work itself and from your expert colleagues! The human capital is without a doubt the best part of Dragonfly. The Head of Operations in particular is a star. Everybody is lovely and a real expert. The leadership makes an effort to create a pleasant working culture. Analysts are empowered and trusted since day 1, with no micromanagement. Talking to clients is really insightful and builds excellent business skills.

      Cons

      Since the acquisition by Fiscal Note, the joyful and start-up atmosphere is gone. It has transitioned from being a boutique energetic advisory consultancy to a small piece of a larger corporate America group. There is more pressure to be proactive, with less money and more oversight. Another one is that career progress is tricky, you are likely to get stuck in your position for a while. Perhaps that's a plus side of the sale, which can allow analysts to move around more.
