Pros

The only pros I have are my coworkers and working with kids. That's it.

Cons

Oh boy, where do I begin? - I applied for a specific position and in the interview they asked me what I thought about teaching instead. It wasn't what I wanted but, alas, I needed money. I said I could try it and have been stuck as a teacher ever since. - The studio is in a cold, small, and messy garage in the CEO's home. - Never met or even saw the CEO. No idea what she's even doing. Definitely not helping her employees. - They like to brag about paying their employees a good rate, but never give enough hours to actually benefit from that. My paychecks were horrible. - They say they can give you full time, but they don't. Many of my coworkers would get more hours for a short period (like a couple weeks) and then management would cut them again. - Planning was pretty awful as well. I had many classes and camps I didn't have any information on until the last minute. Their curriculum is poorly planned and they refuse to update it. You have to basically make your own lesson plan/curriculum for every class. Same with birthday parties and other events. There is no structure. - They would take on events at the expense of the employees, just to make money. - They will mention pay tiers. You will most likely never pass the first or second one. They will refuse to give you a raise, despite asking for the 'observation' that leads to that. - They do not staff things appropriately. They say there will be a lead teacher and an assistant, but that doesn't always happen. Next thing you know, you're in a full class and you are by yourself. It is awful. - Camps are the worst. They definitely do not put in any effort into the lesson plans and activities for camps. They say we'll have support but not staff it appropriately. There was a problem one year where they weren't ordering the supplies we needed and that lead to horrible projects and upset parents. Also, you have to deal with those upset parents. You also most likely wont take any breaks, even though that's illegal! - Corporate events were a pain. Again, don't expect to get a break. Planning with these are bad too, with pretty minimal information. Expect to get lost at campuses. In conclusion, don't work here. It is not worth it. They need to understand they cannot run a business like this. They will make you all kinds of promises and the manager will be all smiles and optimism, but it's all false. Look at the other reviews.

Pros

I love working with such a collaborative team. Everyday I learn something new, and the team is incredibly supportive. It is a small but mighty team and they do go above and beyond.

Cons

There is nothing at this time I can think of.
