      Very tightly knit within the culture of Austin. The CEO is a very kind and giving leader, and being an employee at Discount Electronics affords good compensation and a supportive and laid back atmosphere.

      commissioned sales pressure without the perk of commission.

      Privately owned local business, Casual work environment, Cheap parts and computers.

      Cons

      The business is very disorganized, policies change according to how the owner feels. There's a double standard for employees. If you make sales and are a lead tech then how you conduct yourself doesn't matter, everyone else is expendable. So watch your back if you work here. Management consist of sales people who have no desire to manage.
