Seeps away at the soul

Pros

- Hmm...the turnover rate is really high so you get to meet new people quite often.

Cons

- CEO is a dictator. Uses fear as his medium for obedience. - Everyone is suing everyone. - Culture is insanely depressing, seeps away at your soul. - CEO has a tradition to mass email "do this or you're fired!" almost on a bi-weekly basis.

Pros

The president / CEO manages to stay in business and is able to maintain a certain number of employees.

Cons

The president/CEO is running his own company into the ground. One of the worst money managers. Unless he sells a new invention soon he will be operating out of his garage. The president/CEO enjoys playing the bully toward women and minorities. He is extremely disrespectful, and he believes he is the only intelligent person in his circle. If you decide to work for this mini control freak, who micromanages every piece of work, be prepared to take the blame for everything. Yes, be prepared to say yes sir may I have another as he provides inadequate instructions, hides information and just straight up lies to his employees as well as to skilled candidates. His communication skills are the worst. It is almost like he suffers from a form of autism for he fails to answer questions and neglects emails. He becomes highly irritated by questions. This guy Loves to play the blaming game as he belittles most of his staff with exception of white males and the white women who cater to his ego. Of course, when he uses the scare tactic by saying you are fired you will get to keep your job as you follow the lead of the other employees who will cowardly quiet down. The guy treasures his meetings for they provide him with a feeling of a big man on campus. He tends to waste valuable resources by having everyone in the office work the same thing. Yes, everyone on board will be told to do the same job (Shipping, office manager, sales, finance). Next, he will become extremely upset with everyone because no one will do the job right and nothing else will get accomplished. If you are looking to make a quick buck as you look for a real job then yes I recommend you give this company a try.

Accounting Manager but not really

Pros

The only pro is you have a job.

Cons

The CEO has a screw loose. He is an extreme micro-manager, you have to do it his way, he lets people go at a whim, he has had 5 accounting managers in less than 16 months, lack of money, lack of management skill, a consultant told me he was a worst CEO ever. It is the worst place I have ever worked in my 25 years. He also does not pay the vendors timely and they don't deliver and in the past has cut employee's pay by 25% and again at 10%. He gave the 25% back but not the 10%.
