Pros
Allows for flexing time around when working remote as long as work gets done. Very knowledgeable and supportive team while still maintaining professionalism. The whole company is there to succeed and improve - from CEO to the ground floor. Work is dynamic and never boring.
Cons
Going through growing pains, so there are people wearing many hats (but they are open to cross training, if you want that). This also means you have to set your boundaries around work, but co-workers will respect them. This also means quite a few people will work more hours to ensure work is done.

Pros
You get to learn a lot, becuase their are few shoulders and less resources than larger orgs. Being involved in many aspects of the organization. Experience gained working with Utilities, Telecomms, and Government Agencies, Aetospace, etc. this has helped tremendously. IT here means many things, typically huge breadth but limited depth. Rapid growth 12M to 25M from 2019 to 2020. If you can dig in, proactively solve problems and learn from senior staff, you will go far fast here. Flexibility. Gym shorts and t shirts a lot of days, others business casual. Need to take care of something during business hours, no big deal. Family Emergency? What can DeTect do to help. Proactive attitude from middle management.
Cons
Negioted pay is mediocre at best. Though potential for other compensation. Many things are done the way they have always been. Despite being a small "tech" or electronics company this is the case. Top techincal staff put in many, many hours a week. Especially near project deadlines. My personal opinion is that a few of them could easily leave for >250k TC packages at Fortune 50 companies. Some project managers do not have the techincal knowledge needed to coordinate projects.
