Pros

theres a lot of overtime in the company- if you have an upcoming vacation or project in which you may need more than just your regular check to pay for things (ex: upcoming birthday, vacation, or extra money) this company provides overtime hours.

Cons

VERY UNPROFFESIONAL. at the corp offices , everyone acts very proffesional and lies about what you will be actually facing and doing on the job. they make you learn all these procedures to basically cover themselves from liability but when you actually go to the onsite facility- everything is the complete opposite. managers are horrible- they act like they are on you side and they turn and talk about you. VERY UNETHICAL PLACE- your busniess will always be put out there- yes!!! managers will talk about you. you have to find your own cover to get time off--- once again!! YOU HAVE TO FIND YOUR OWN COVER if not then your in deep trouble. the pay is garbage!! mornings only pay $10:50 and afternoons and nights pay $11.25 after 6pm s, so you arent actually making 11.25 if you start at 3pm.. managers have their favortites and when you get them mad ,be prepared to be on garbage list. the administrator- WATCH OUT! she very deceiving- she makes you think that shes there to help meanwhile she goes and tells the managers everything and turn them against you. this company has mandatory stays-which means you are obligated to stay an etra 8hrs on top of your shift (16 total).

Pros

Overall a good company to work for. Most co workers are friendly & helpful. If you have another source of benefits and are looking for a M-F job with a descent paycheck then they are a great place to work.

Cons

Benefits are really expensive and not great for what you pay. You have to use PTO for holidays instead of them being company paid, taking away from your PERSONAL time off. They need more staff, you have expected goals but not enough help and they don't approve overtime very often.

Pros

The training was the best part of this job. It's two weeks long at the DSI training center. You get paid 9.25 for training. If you work at the ICF you start off at $11.25. The group homes pay $10.00 with no benefits and $9.25 with benefits.

Cons

I don't know where to start. This company is HORRIBLE. There is so much miscommunication its ridiculous. The managers show favoritism in the group homes and in the facilities. Everyone is so fake at the DSI office and they act like they care about the clients. They want you to work so hard but the pay is not worth it. You don't get bonuses like they say in training and if you want PTO...you basically have to beg for it. oh and RAISES are a complete LIE. Moving up in the company is almost impossible unless the upper management LOVE you. In the facilities you have to work mandatory overtime almost twice a week because people love to call out so much. There is a high turnover rate and they keep loosing staff. The management make irrational decisions. I could go on and on about this company but JUST STAY AWAY!!! I left and will NEVER return.
