New Ownership

Pros

Great coworkers, great location, amazing projects and varied work scope.

Cons

Lower than average pay, constant new ownership shuffle shutting down projects in the pipeline and freezing advancement opportunities, company culture decline under the succession of new ownership changes, lots of legacy processes and systems that encumber meaningful advancement and innovation.

Great Place to work

Pros

Engineering team is generally awesome - good people doing good work. Excellent work/life balance. Stable company - mature player in a mature but growing market.

Cons

Compensation is not as high as first-tier companies. Company has seen some churn in ownership over the last three years - hopefully the recent Parker acquisition will be the end of that for a long long time. We'll see how that goes. Management - while generally very good - sometimes prioritizes short-term business priorities over what's best for the long-term.
