Pros

It was my dream to be Cabin Crew, so I will be forever grateful that I could try this kind of a job. I have met wonderful people there and it was overall a good experience for me to grow as a person. Good thing is you have time to travel (5 days of work, 3 days off) - cheaper flight ticket - one way ticket is around 40€)

Cons

Crewlink is just a big mess, not organized and Ryanair as well. There is always problem with something (not sending the money, not paying for what they are supposed to.)It is not payed enough if you are based in Dublin where accommodation costs a fortune, you won’t be able to save any money. Salary in Dublin base for CC junior is about 1500 but in winter it is around 1200/1300€. Passengers (especially in Ireland and UK) could be very demanding, rude etc. Overall the biggest problem is that they (Crewlink/Workforce/Ryanair) don’t respect their employees and they treat them very poorly. Working condition is just not good that’s why most people don’t stay longer than a few months.

Pros

-Cheaper Flights discounts (not all the time) -Set Roster 5 days on 3 days off -Great as a foot in the door experience -Chances to move up to Purser or head office -Full time contract often given after a year of employment with some increased benefits

Cons

-A lot of responsibility for the pay given -Dublin being an expensive country, the wages don't match the rent. -Working conditions could be better -Pay could be better -Often little to no regard for life outside work Was denied leave to see my grandmother's funeral as a personal anecdote -Calling in sick can lead to meetings and possible layoff. -Recruiter agency is incredibly disorganised
