Unpleasant initial experience for a recent application as a Customer Success Associate. A simple application process to complete, received a response 1 week later regarding my application. Very standard email to say they are interested and to just book a slot with the hiring team; the earliest slot was within a week. A week passed, and 1 hour before the call with the hiring team was scheduled, a careless email was sent to say thank you for interviewing with our team, which I had not even had the chance to do, and the position had been filled a few days earlier, and invite you to connect with them on Linkedin, but they do not even exist on Linkedin or the company.
The position, however, remained on their website for a further 3 weeks after this, and was taking applications. Then, 4 weeks after receiving the initial email saying the position had been filled, I received another email to thank me again for taking the time to chat with their team, and it was a pleasure chatting with me and learning more about myself and my background; however, no chat had occurred at any point.
It then went on to say that, unfortunately, they had decided to move forward with other candidates to the next stage, and they would keep me in mind for future roles. But, to be honest, I would avoid this company completely, as they are clearly very unorganised and show no real care for candidates, and most likely for employees after a few months you're there. Simply another number and tickbox in the workplace and on paper.
