Pros
Great mission, providing funding directly to artists for new projects. Access to learning about all artistic disciplines and key artists and colleagues across the US.
Cons
Creative Capital has a wonderful mission to support artists but has never really supported its staff. Not unlike other non-profits it relies on a team with little diversity, mostly seen through low level employees with no executive level decision making. New leadership has no vision or deep knowledge and understanding of what artists need. Big turnover recently and most staff left are miserable. No room for advancement.
