If I were to be scrupulously fair, a lot of the toxic culture, behavior and management is a consequence of the way this catapult has been set up and managed by InnovateUK - they must take their share of the blame for the performance of the whole network. That said, this outfit has been hijacked by a small core of scheming and dishonest individuals, who are reaping ridiculously inflated tax payer funded salaries, to preside over a colossal waste of money - there will never be any meaningful impact on the UK economy from this centre and it will be eventually shut down. The organisation has enormous staff churn, made up of those who can no longer stand the culture and leave, and those who speak up and are hounded out through manipulation of HR systems. This abuse of tax payers money is then covered with NDAs, again at the taxpayers expense.
