I have been working at Comau full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Salary is always on time. Get the opportunity to work on projects of major Automobile companies. Transportation and food is from company. You can plan to join if you get the opportunity to work in below relaxing departments. Quality, SCM, Proposal, Sales,HR.

    Cons

Very Poor Project Management team. They do not plan the activities properly and blame technical team for failures. There is no policy for how many days a person needs to stay on site. Site allowance is too less compared to other companies. When you go out of india you get only 40 dollars a day, which is very less as compared to other companies. Promotion is very slow,it depends only upon number of years you have spent in the company. If you put on papers there are higher chances of promotion and growth. Everybody followes this bad culture for getting promoted. For site team it is always 6-7 days working, minimum 70 hours a week. 12 Hours working shift is a normal thing here. No matter how far you stay from the work place. Travelling time is average 3 hours a day. During festivals when all are enjoying they will plan a shut down project with more than 12 hours working shift. Don't consider Saturday as holiday. It's normal to work on Saturday and Sunday then support customer according to there shift timing on Monday. Despite of third class behaviour and planning, all the project managers manage to get promotions and hike in salaries.

    I worked at Comau

    Pros

Very nice and great coworkers Good benefits

    Cons

Awful management; They expect you to be perfect and not make mistakes, even though any training program is non existent. Poor communication; will talk behind your back instead of talking to you about issues. Would rather hire new employees instead of promote current ones because they are too good at their jobs.

    Pros

Possible bonus but not very much, especially if you are a woman.

    Cons

This is a male dominated company and females are treated like second class employees and are often left out of the loop, not invited to events, receive less employee reviews with poorer. This company HAS BEEN SUED before for sexism. WATCH OUT WOMEN!!!!!

I have been working at Comau

    Pros

    - If you recently graduated from school Comau is a good place to learn. - Average benefits ( Not the best). - Overtime (Depends the project) - Always something new to learn and get more experience. - Flexible time (only at Southfield office’s) - Diverse employee base

    Cons

    - Very disrespectful people: Sadly Comau has not a good HR hiring process; they hire whatever they find, some sponsored by managers. People is arrogant, bossy, and with high egos. They do not talk to you with a professional tone, even mechanical and electricians do not respect you and it is worst at Novi plant, be as far as you can from Novi plant. Very rude people and looks like they have a culture of yelling, it is just crazy; a quick example: you get problems if you take some coffee inside offices when in Southfield office is free for EVERYBODY!!! - Unethical workplace: Leaders with abusive behavior and bossy. In the office always is gossiping, backstabbing and trash talkers, you can see how people walk around the area just trying to see what you are doing on the computer. - No work life balance
