      Don't waste your time believing the lies that come out of Ashleys mouth

      Pros

      Owner doesn't charge you for the staff milk or coffee You rarely have to see the owners face because he's always busy squirelling company funds on his personal life

      Cons

      Dishonest owner - most words that come out his mouth are lies Doesn't pay commission due Overstated companies abilities Spends time sending company wide emails about what milk in the fridge can be used for, excluding cereal (it costs £1 a carton mr big cheese, get over it) Doesn't pay wages on time, acts like he's doing you a favour paying you what is owed.

      Pros

      After quite a drawn-out interview process, I was offered the position of Account Manager. I'd worked alongside an ex-employee of Colva since last year and she was so overtly negative, I suspected that there may be more to it. Thank goodness I took the gamble and applied. I've never worked in such a driven, positive environment and where the team all want you to do well. I look forward to getting up for work - something I've never done. The Owner is the MD too and he has been nothing but supportive and has created a culture which embraces creativity and growth.

      Cons

      The induction given by HR was a little too long but I understand why they need to do it. I was just keen to start work. The parking isn't great either but the MD is very good at keeping us all updated and he is in the process of buying a lot more spaces very close to the premises.

      Met some great people whilst working at Colva, none of them are still there...

      Cons

      First off, don't believe any of the good reviews you see here. Whilst you are in employment the owner forces you to write a good review. They also have a number of fake employees on Linkedin to make the company look larger. The owner set up the business by stealing data and customers from his then employer and is therefore so paranoid about someone doing the same to him that you can't make a tea without being watched on the cameras. Constant lies, late payments and non-payments (commission) meant that it was a struggle from start to finish.
