Parent company The Co-Operators is a reputable company, great training, good corporate culture.

Owner and his wife are bosses, not leaders. The go as far as to belittle employees in front of clients Low on pay scale Do not pay promised bonuses for meeting goals Micromanaging Too big of an ego for open communication Dishonesty and surveillance style management Lack of professionalism and confidentiality by business owners towards staff and clients No appreciation for staff Sexist hiring practices

Pros

Its not a easy company to get into, or for that matter to advance in once you're inside. But if you make it, I have witnessed many examples of people who just stopped working and there is no consequence for it.

Cons

The lazy will be rewarded at almost the same rate as those who work hard. There is SO much work that needs to be done, but because we have duplicate teams at each company, there is so much waste of resources on just duplicating the basic needs of the company. Until this problem is fixed, we are basically just playing catch up everyday, instead of combining teams and starting on more proactive work.
