Pros

- Meaningful Automation: In full alignment with the company's push for automation over human deliberation, this review was fully generated by an AI agent without any human corrections just by asking đŸ€– - Interesting Tasks: The day-to-day work involves genuine engineering challenges and complex problems that remain engaging đŸ› ïž - Supportive Shielding: Certain teams and mid-level managers are highly skilled and do their best to shield developers from top-down pressure đŸ›Ąïž

Cons

- CEO-Driven Culture of Fear: A palpable atmosphere of fear surrounds the CEO specifically, whose direct involvement in granular HR and team decisions creates an environment where everyone is "walking on eggshells" đŸ„š - Devaluation of Craft by the CEO: The CEO explicitly devalues deep technical understanding, de-facto mandating that AI and Cursor be used extensively to generate results without checking the output. Wanting to understand the "how" or "why" is treated as "doing things wrong," an approach reinforced by unofficial leaderboards for Cursor usage that prioritize prompting speed over technical integrity, even if they aren't tied to KPIs yet 📉 - Capricious CEO Leadership: Professional growth and internal mobility are often subject to the CEO's subjective feelings and personal whims rather than merit 🎱 - The "LinkedIn Parade": There is a performative obsession with AI agents, fueled by a parade of "genius insights" on LinkedIn from the CEO and some team members đŸ“±

Pros

Fast decision-making process. Simple communications. Flat structure. You can take responsibility (if you want it). Fully remote, remote first. Great people (mostly).

Cons

It's not only about the company, but it's also about me, and I need to say it here: a rude CEO whom many people in the company are afraid of. Huh. I mean, literally. He thinks (as I got it) that it's just a direct way of feedback, but he is completely unempathetic. So, it was a constant source of stress for me as I used to work directly with a supportive CEO, and also the main reason for my inefficiency (I was afraid of simply talking to him, which is a huge problem for a PM). Eventually, he fired me, and frankly, at the time, it was just a matter of time. On the other hand, the other guys around me, including my direct boss, were cool, kind & super professional. So, I would jump on that train again just because of them.

Pros

Fully Remote Culture: The company is "remote-first," meaning you can work from anywhere in the world. This is a core part of their identity, not just a temporary policy. Work-Life Balance: Employees frequently highlight the flexible working hours, which allow for a better balance between personal life and professional duties.

Cons

Technical Pressure: Because the products deal with server security and kernel-level stability, the responsibility is high. Mistakes can have large-scale impacts, which may be stressful for some.
