- Former Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
Friendly team with interesting technical challenges.
Cons
There's no parking when working in the office.
- Current Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
Good benefits Nice Canteen Diverse company county vouchers office building and location
Cons
Low salary and lack of human power. Hard workers not rewarded Delusional managers Career progression is close to zero. Zero trainning
- Current Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
Stable company Good benefits Flexible (hybrid working) Some of the criticism they receive on here is pretty harsh, I have worked here for many years (not as a manager), I have also worked for other similar companies and I can honestly say they are a very good employer, not perfect but try hard to improve and get a good balance. Clearstream is a very diverse company that promotes equal opportunities and I enjoy working for them.
Cons
Pay reviews could be more clearer with better understanding of pay scales per position.
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Good place to start for someone just out of college.
Cons
-HR too busy trying to win pointless awards and boasting on social media than they are fixing the issues within the company -Hard workers not rewarded - Extremely poor salary and bonus. Not aloud to discuss or negotiate on why you deserve more. One review a year with this "review" being this is what your getting tough if you don't like it. - Senior MGMT out of touch with the workforce, shocking communication - Lovely office that's totally inaccessible to get to which you are forced to come in a minimum of 3 days a week -Progression path is the 8th wonder of the world, no one's aloud know how to climb up -Employees concerns are shunned off by all management -Impossible to get time off due to work force dwindling and no cover across teams -Nepotism .... everywhere - Majority of managers are passive aggressive, unapproachable and micro manage - Company has now became a toxic environment to be in due to completely inept management.

Delusional management, demoralised workforce

2 glorious days of the week we get a break from suffering the office when we get 'rewarded' with the possibility of working from home.
Cons
Where do I begin? Despite the company boasting (literally emailed staff to inform of this) how targets for profit in 2020 were far above expectations while the majority of staff were working from home, staff are only being permitted to wfh twice a week as the company claim 'while the work is being done, productivity is down when staff aren't onsite'. Furthermore, after the hugely successful 2020, staff were given one of the worst pay increases/bonus in recent years (not that they are ever great) as it was claimed that the success wasn't seen in certain functions in Germany. In recent weeks staff have been plamaused with talks that our concerns have finally been heard (in other words they didn't like the bad press on Glassdoor) and that the managing director was working on increased salary for staff. This slightly improved moral for a day or two before the proverbial carrot rotted and it has been revealed that the increase will only be applied to new starters. As a result, anybody who is in the company for less than 5/6 years will be on equal or less pay than somebody with no experience. Yet management wonder why staff would ever leave the magical land of milk and honey. Then once a person even hints at being unhappy working there they are essentially shunned. Staff moral is on the floor, but they are so happy with the revolving door policy that they even installed two of them at the front of the building! Time to update the CV.

Good Experience, Poorly paid
30 May 2022 - Anonymous Employee in CorkRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Learnt a lot in the time I was there, great place for graduates
Cons
Salary was very poor, full time store assistants in Aldi are paid better. Benefits are great but for young professionals/graduates, we need money, not pension. Cost of living in Ireland is going up and it is the young professionals that are trying to move out of home who need money and are less concerned with pension, parental leave etc.
