Pros

Some things that may set the place apart is Insurance day 1. The quarterly bonus is hit or miss but any extra money is always welcome regardless the amount. If you have experience they're willing to negotiate your pay. Some places have a set figure and won't budge from it. The jobs are enjoyable but see the cons section for the setbacks.

Cons

Worse than high school when it comes to cliquiness. If you're not part of certain inner circles or have a certainlast name, don't expect to move up or move around to advance. The same people have been in charge in management for years for the most part, and they keep hiring their immediate family and friends. This takes a serious emotional toll on you if you're not part of the dark web. Two people were hired into management who are married and one is awful when it comes to people skills. They were former military so it checks off certain boxes. There is resistance by some leadership when it comes to new ideas.

Pros

You work with good people though not all are hard working, most are. The work schedule is what I like the most. The job itself isn't too bad, there's days where it's stressful. Benefits are OK, the pay is DECENT (for operators anyway), you get more with more training. Quarterly bonuses were good for a while now they're hit or miss, but extra money is acceptable. Quarterly Company outings are nice depending on what the shift picks.

Cons

There are cliques and it's a boy's club to an extent (depends on the building and shift). You work 12 hour shifts (not for everyone) The company pushes surveys really hard to improve worklife but it's mostly to make the company look good. The company is PE adjacent The company goes to lengths to "cut costs". Leadership is only receptive to ideas that work immediately or short term "Room for growth" is gatekeeped to an extent. You can be motivated to learn/earn more and either get put to the side, put on lines where you can't learn, or training attention is put to people like. You're not always going to be met halfway in that regard. Mind you, it depends on what shift you're on as well and how long you can be persistent.
