Pros
Could not ask for a better support staff. Really care about helping you succeed in any way they can. The older agents there want to help you. They want to see you succeed. The general agent is a no nonsense person that people listen to when he speaks. You need that for college graduates sometimes. MassMutual has a wonderful program for people wanting to get into this business.
Cons
Very closed minded. What they do not tell you is you need to expect to pay ~$300 a month with agency fees, parking fees, desk fee, technology fee, etc. Managers do not know know what they are doing at all. One really tries hard to be a good manager but the other has too much of an ego to see his own mistakes to learn from them. Their structure on how to help new people changes every month so no one ever learns anything. They preach to use fear to get someone to do business, and while getting a client to fix a genuine problem is important, making them afraid is not the answer. They also pressure you to take the Series 6 over the Series 7. The Series 6 is easier and takes less time to study for, so the managers can get paid faster. A lot of people also feel that anyone who is related to the McCray's (blood or friends) are getting free passes without earning anything.
