Pros

Excellent location. No traffic jhanjat... Good managers. I think company totally thrives on these 3-4 managers. Good technologies to work on. Subsidised food.

Cons

Many people have absconded in last few months due to rudeness of senior people. They literally shout on floor. Calsoft has a Python architect who cannot code. (he speaks like Shashi Tharoor. he lies and takes credit like modi, but is actually a Rahul Gandhi) Training sessions are just for formalities. or to show on record. Higher management is useless. Complaints become volatile as soon as they reach higher management. They cant take firm decisions. We once had internet problems which went on for whooping 7-8 months. Finally we stopped complaining about it and literally used our mobile jio networks for client calls and no one bothered about it. Less pay. No proper band hierarchy.

Favorism at it's best

Pros

1. Nice parking 2. Location of Company is very easy to reach. There is no traffic near the company area. 3. Good Canteen. Lunch and Dinner are subsided by company. 4. In most of the projects work-life balance is good. 5. Exit procedure is well managed. We are not required to meet anyone in person for getting his/her signature.

Cons

1. Manipulation in Glassdoor reviews. If you observe carefully, you will find time based few back to back positive reviews (with small description) to balance out negative reviews. 2. Extreme favorism is in Calsoft. If you observe carefully, awards & promotions are given mostly to people who are favorites of a director/Manager. You need to attend only 2 award ceremonies to realise this. 3. Less chances of getting project. You may have to spend many months on bench. 4. Poor WFH policy. It is almost impossible to get work from home. 5. Outdated technology stack. 6. Very short time projects. Most of the projects are of timeline of 2 months. 7. Bad Performance Appraisal. If your package is on higher side, they will give you 0% hike. 8. Completely biased HR policies. The HR policies are different for people above manager designation and people at/below manager designation.

Calsoft Response

We read your response. We lay a lot of trust in our employees and encourage an open-door policy. 1. Calsoft has no need to go and manipulate the Glassdoor feedback as we have open channels to receive genuine feedback from employees. We lay a lot of emphasis on our internal Employee Satisfaction Survey. The feedback received through this channel is extremely valuable to us and the team works towards meeting the areas of improvement. 2. We strongly believe in a performance-driven culture and always appreciate / felicitate employees who keep raising their bar 3. Being a product engineering organization domain expertise is key. This forces employees to remain upskilled and be “The preferred one” when it comes to client selection 4. We always had a WFH policy and is available to employees across levels 5. Calsoft has been known as an industry expert in the SNVC space and we continue to remain the preferred partner for our customers 6. Our business model operates with OPD and ODC projects both. In the domains that we operate our focus would be to excel in both the category of projects 7. We have a strong performance review process with defined eligibility criteria and we would continue to operate with the same 8. Every organization has a set of policies that are applicable to different levels and so does Calsoft. We understand that you really couldn’t adapt to the Calsoft culture. While you've decided to explore options elsewhere, we wish you good luck. Stay connected through support@calsoftinc.com

Playground of the rich and incompetent

Pros

You can behave as if you are at home

Cons

Management is full of family friends and cronies. Talent has no place here. HR comes from rich crooked families. No respect if you dont sucker up to these drama contest participants, or fall at their feet. They dont want your skills and capabilities, and when business flops, they hit you on your stomach. Thats what these rich spoilt good for nothing enjoy doing.
