Pros

The cultural/community fit very well with my personality. I looked forward to driving to work every morning, and genuinely enjoyed my responsibilities and the company of my team. I worked at CTDI for almost a year and a half.

Cons

The turnover at CTDI is unbelievably high. I didn't think it would happen to me, I felt safe at CTDI. I have the measurable statistics to prove I was more successful than the last 3 predecessors in my role, I was only ever given positive feedback, received a standing ovation at a yearly conference from my team and CEO, and was well liked within the corporation. I was training associates in higher positions than myself because I was deemed a dependable training resource. All this praise became very confusing when the girl next to me is receiving a 10k raise and the girl who started 3 months prior in the same exact position I'm working is receiving a promotion but I have seen no growth and can't get a clear answer from my senior manager as to why I'm not being promoted/growing. It became very apparent after the 3rd time I was promised to be put on salary that it just wasn't going to happen. Associates in my department who started after me were receiving raises while I'm being told it isn't within the budget. I was paid like a babysitter and had a carrot dangled in front of me that I'd be put on salary for a year. It didn't happen, so I left. I felt valued while I was at CTDI, but now taking a look in from the outside I feel completely taken advantage of. I would not recommend any one of my friends to work here.

Thank you for complimenting the strong employee culture here at CTDI -- as a family owned company, we take great pride in our care for our employees. And as a whole, our company-wide turnover is extremely competitive within our industry. Within the short year and a half you were here, it sounds like you were presented with a very supportive work environment and given very positive feedback -- and while it didn't happen exactly when you wanted it, growth opportunities for you were probably right around the corner. As evidenced by your observation that other talented employees in your department were receiving excellent opportunities, CTDI has an excellent internal advancement philosophy that many of our employees have benefited from. Thank you again for your service to CTDI and we wish you the best in your further career endeavors.
