    Pros

    There are some great front-line employees at this company.

    Cons

    More re-orgs are done at this company than any that I know of. Teams barely figure out what to do with their new orgs and the execs re-org it again. Very large leadership gap which translates to no coaching, mentoring or growing employees. Managers just don't have time. They say that the employee experience is important but that is simply not true. It is even worse now with the new CEO.

    I worked at COGECO part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Nothing except discounted cable services

    Cons

    Call centre employees are literally harrassed, written up and insulted for not meeting sales quotas on abusive in bound calls. Senseless demand for sale, sale, sale. Low calibre management doesn't even understand that customer are calling yelling about tech horrible behaviour, tech not showing up on time for appointments or wrong billing spread over months. How are reps supposed to make sales on abusive calls or resolve months long issues in 5-6 minutes??? I am glad that Bell is taking away your market share, Cogeco, by every passing day. Cogeco has completely lost its mind for corporate greed and lust for market share. According to my and other co-workers' calculation, it is max 3-4 years and Cogeco atleast in Ontario will go bankrupt. Customer abuse and wrong business decisions will take you only so far buddy!

    Pros

    Good sense of job satisfaction and very well paid with good benefits. Coworkers outside of management are amazing.

    Cons

    It’s ironic they say on their corporate site that no ego gets in the way at Cogeco. It does. Management are micro managers, abusive and absolutely love playing mind games. They’ll force you out of the company if they don’t like you.

    Pros

    The pay is ok, benefits are decent

    Cons

    System changes and new service deployments regularly cause major outages both with our internal systems and customer services. No actual regard for employee well-being. Regularly "re-organize", getting rid of dedicated, qualified and tenured employees. Front-line employees are thrown under the bus with poor and uninformed decision making from the upper-management level. Expected to achieve statistics despite inconsistent and unreliable support tools/systems and disciplined if you do not. Limited growth ceiling without university degree despite performance or experience.
