      Good pay and flexible hours, but toxic environment

      Pros

      Good day rate, nine day fortnight and really good food with lunch allowance.

      Cons

      Toxic working environment with suffocating internal processes and procedures. Individuals are scapegoated and fired to be replaced with compliant friends of the hiring manager - corruption is rampant and tolerated.

      In the UK there are none due to the continual policy of reduction in head count. Remains to be seen how honourably the Chinese will behave when production ceases and they are left with decomm costs.
