Pros

Great office location, people at manager level and below are really decent and approachable. Made a lot of good friends there, and miss the Friday night drinks with the group. The executives are friendly for the most part and take your opinion seriously. Excellent benefits on offer.

Cons

Poor senior management: my direct boss was a big disappointment and was never pulled up on that performance (to my knowledge) in my time there. I couldn't handle the role towards the end, and am glad I left when I did. Communication outside the 'chain of command' is encouraged but in practice that's never going to happen. The sales team has a seriously bad bro culture that in effect split the company in two when it came to social stuff. Maybe that's reflective of sales teams in general... Also the head of the people team was the biggest barrier to any kind of culture in there - she did everything she could to ensure we had as little fun as possible.

Pros

Great office Great location Casual work environment A lot of work perks associated with the job

Cons

Hard work and dedication only get noticed if you are a personal laugh track to a manager The words salary and increase will never be heard together here What is a bonus? I wonder what it feels like to get one Teamwork is nonexistent. Meetings usually involve people trying to look good and sound smart instead of adding any real value to the company I have never actually heard any praise for great teamwork, only individual achievements As much politics going on here as any company I guess This place reminds me of High School because there is a social ladder and the "teachers" don't really do any teaching Turning into a real competitive environment

Pros

- All the typical benefits of working for a big company like healthcare, social events, etc.

Cons

- Everyone in the company is in self-preservation mode. People will only help you if it makes them look good, and no one is willing to make sacrifices for the betterment of the company - Executive team cannot agree on anything so they identify lots of projects every quarter, tell their teams different things and then forget which projects they were supposed to do by the end of the quarter anyways. - Last real goal set failed spectacularly, suffering from a classic case of using the wrong metric to measure success. - No transparency with non-manager employees on what the vision is, what the current financial standing is, how the financial projections were made up, etc. - Overall the company suffers from a general lack of understanding of how to use data and treating their people as 'resources' instead of 'human beings'.
