      Pros

      Nice people, some very talented ones, travelling. Flexible hours.

      Cons

      The senior management is rude, and has no respect for employees' work. A lot of hypocrisy, no transparency: behaviour is not what you wish to see in a work place nor favorable for you to grow. No engineering or product leadership. Process is chaotic. No shares, no bonus, no benefit at all, pension as low as possible (1%), everything is good to reduce the costs. Salaries more less good depending on the job. Some people are clearly underpaid. The company doesn't seem to know very well who are the clients and users. No work from home.

      Bitpesa is run by a visionary team with very big ambitions. There are tremendous opportunities to learn, network, and advance your career in bleeding edge blockchain technology. It is a fast-paced work environment with opportunities to grow and expand in the company with leadership opportunities for the ambitious. The leadership team is very focused on bringing in diverse talent, which adds tremendous value to the ideas, problem solving capabilities, and overall productivity.

      Cons

      The blockchain space is moving at lightning speed and success in the company requires someone who can role with the punches and quickly adapt to changing market conditions.

      -Talented and fun people that you get to hang out with everyday -Plenty of learning opportunities that grow your skill set but also allow you to be creative and lead with solutions & ideas - lots of autonomy! -Help build a business that wants to provide positive impact, and change the way payments and treasury solutions are done in today's existing frontier markets

      Cons

      -During periods of intense growth, it can be chaotic but that is characteristic of any company in this stage. As long as you set expectations for an adventurous ride, you will be good! It's about perspective and finding an opportunity in every challenge.
