I worked at Best Learning full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good salary, enjoyable job, when you perform well there is much less oversight.

    Cons

Working weekends, profit based organisation, demand for and from employees can lead to poor work ethic in teachers

I worked at Best Learning full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good structure for dealing with problems arising from a cross-cultural workplace. More than sufficient amounts of training. Great salary.

    Cons

The pay is amazing if you over-work yourself. Depending on your center, some levels of upper managment can act extremely immature.

I have been working at Best Learning full-time

    Pros

High paying salary with great incentives. You get what you give, if you have the mindset that you want to improve the lesson or have ideas that will do well in the classroom you have the ability to implement them. Lots of teaching hours, however sometimes this can be considered as too much teaching hours.

    Cons

I believe it varies from center to center. People have different personal goals when coming to teach for this company in China. If you work in a center that has a focus on education then you will have a great time. However if the other foreign teachers are not there to teach and are just there to party then it will be hard.

I have been working at Best Learning full-time for less than a year

    Pros

2-week Training and 2 or more week Accommodation, all bureaucracy taking care of. Brilliant staff English and Chinese. The kids you can't beat that. Great after work and team weekends usually.

    Cons

Initial pay can take 1 or 2 months. Accommodation in the city after training is very stressful. You can be posted anywhere in the city. Pay really gets better after 1 year.

I worked at Best Learning full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

-Always pays -Nice yearly bonuses -Can make good money if you stick with the company for a few years -Takes care of their employees regarding police or local laws -Lots of good kids -Solid lesson plan provided -Good healthcare reimbursement (no visual, or dental) -Second shift, good work/life balance -Teachers generally care about the kids and the job -Excellent support from Chinese staff -Free (basic) Chinese classes -Fun dinners/team building/parties/outings with center

    Cons

-Experiences may vary wildly with center, where you are placed, and respective management -New contracts don't pay based on how many hours you teach -Not very diverse -Unless you want to be a teacher, no career opportunities -Saturdays and Sundays are BUSY -Senior management is marketing/sales/investors, the children are NOT the priority
