They made you feel as if you had a chance of making money, when in reality no one was interested in doing business with the firm because they doesn't specialize in any area, the partners are terrible at their jobs, and there are countless other firms offering better service.
Cons
Everything: No pay, awful mentorship, few if any resources, no leads. This is a firm that has been banking on its past record from years ago with nothing to show for the past 3 years. Anyone that had any talent has left the firm. One would think there would be an opening to thrive in this environment, but none of the partners are capable of helping you close a deal. If you're not a seasoned professional with a book of business that just wants a desk in midtown, Besen literally has nothing to offer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WORKING FOR BESEN, THERE ARE BETTER WAYS TO WASTE IT
