Pros

convenient location, nicely-appointed apartments, dedicated staff, good computer software tracking system, good food, good training, well lit,

Cons

limited close employee parking, non-competitive hourly wage, chronic short staffing of LVNs and PALs (sort of like CNA's but don't have a certificate), hyper sensitive to people working overtime in spite of short staffed status

Pros

Working with the residents and their families. The holiday parties are a lot of fun. It brings the entire home together-the staff and the management.

Cons

The management is greedy. Will raise a resident's rent to try to get them to move out. Thus, they can rent the room for a higher cost. This, of course, puts the resident & his family in undo pressure. The other residents no longer have respect or trust living at Belmont. They want to feel safe for a guaranteed period of time for their parent (who has a limited life span any way). Their remaining years should be productive and happy ones. Shame on Belmont.

Vindictive dishonest company

Pros

Relatively high pay for EDs

Cons

Dysfunctional, unqualified regional team with a lot of drama. No business office managers, hence EDs do all the clerical work. Regional VP does not listen to what needs to be done to fix issues.
