I worked with a small team in the UK, very knowledgeable and experienced and you will get good exposure to variety.
Cons
1 or 2 employees seem to lack boundaries and carry an enormous amount of self-entitlement, this can sometimes create situations so stupid they have to be seen to be believed, and not in a good way. Career progression is limited in such a small company unless you want to move to France, which I wouldn't recommend.
