Pros

1. Flexibility in work schedule - despite needing to cater for stakeholders in the Americas, some team allow their employees to work on midshift schedule. There was also an instance where stakeholders expressed their concerns about manila employees to have a healthier lifestyle so they allowed midshift for some. I know a company who say or got awarded for being a great place to work at but dont offer flexible work schedule because they focus on collaboration, they need to be there for their stakeholders. I say it’s a very one way arrangement that implies toxicity. Not all those awards are true. 2. They also dont deduct salary for tardiness. 3. Company is very strict about safety 4. Salary can be competitive 5. World class office space with advance equipment 6. Dynamic workplace arrangement 7. Management (not all departments though) are competent and approachable 8. Great culture - we have a speak up culture 9. The company guarantees equal pay for men and women, ensuring no gender-based wage discrimination

Cons

1. Career progression - not enough opportunities are provided 2. Some stakeholders can be too difficult to work with - they focus on determining culpability. Others also can be rude. 3. Given that BHP is a largest mining company in the world, they could do better in terms of monetary benefits
