Pros

Nice office and friendly coworkers.

Cons

Very poor salaries compared to the rest of the industry Very little to no communication from senior leadership on key operational issues For all trainee accountants - YOU WILL NOT BE SENT TO COLLEGE FOR TRAINING - Aztec use HTFT which is an online training provider with hands down the worst platform i have ever seen. You are expected to learn after work in your own time, with a few days off for study leave, this is exhausting after being burnt out from dealing with clients. If you're a smart, ambitious and driven individual like me, your ideas or creativity won't be listened to or appreciated. The general training for the role i experienced was very poor - you are given the work and told to perform without proper explanation, and the Aztec Academy is a joke. Little communication between client facing teams, tech or projects teams meaning wires constantly get crossed. I joined Aztec for the 'culture', and whilst is was average to start, it must sit at an industry low now.
