Promotion limited to adavancing career

Management was incompetent and either micromanaged employees or ignored them, there was no happy medium. Licensed engineers were encouraged to stamp things they weren't comfortable with

Limited career advancement or salary increase opportunities. Mid-level management often becomes disorganized, which causes unnecessary and sometimes significant issues for both clients and employees. A handful of great talented individuals have essentially been 'driven-out' in recent years.

High work loads and average pay

The structure is not the same across all offices.

Asks for constructive criticism/doesn’t want to here it, will set you up for failure, ADHD management, conflicting guidance/direction, poor leadership and cliques

Medium sized company may not be for everyone.

At my location, it's hard to get training as a new engineer. I think it's a local problem, though.

Unlimited PTO and hitting a utilization rate makes things interesting. Need more company outings to build culture.
