      Pros

      Excellent CEO who no longer works for the company. The company is now run by an executive from Clark Construction, the parent company.

      Cons

      Not a meritocracy. The culture is extremely different between the regional offices and many offices don't work well together.

      Boys club, allowed bad behavior to continue

      Pros

      It's a job but if you're a woman don't expect fair treatment or promotions. It's still a boys club.

      Cons

      Bad behavior by one particular manager had been allowed to go on for too long. It's well known how moody and unprofessional he is but nothing is done about it.

      Company is a family type atmosphere. Management is 100% support of Company culture, mission statement, and community goals. Personnel are professional and committed to the job. Safety is first and foremost. The job is done right the first time.

      Cons

      Work always depends on being the lowest bidder. Anyone who ever comes up with a list of cons either never worked for Guy F. Atkinson, or reallt hates construction work.
