The leadership team is the number 1 con. They don't respect their employees or trust them. They also frequently contradict themselves and provide very little transparency to the company and decisions they make.
Additionally, teams function poorly with other teams, and professional communication between personnel is not prioritized. Human resources, focus on team building and career building is almost nonexistent. I had one review after being at the company over two years, which I found unacceptable.
Finally, many hours of work are expected with little return or appreciation from the company or management. Too much is asked without offering anything in return. The lack of respect and appreciation at Astra for their employees was exhausting.
