      Potentially an amazing company that keeps snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

      Pros

      Some great people work there - really passionate about helping people and really working hard to ensure that those less fortunate than themselves have an opportunity to improve their lot. The "good news stories" used to be amazing.

      Cons

      The CEO was "asked to resign" and the whole company was told exactly those words. How humiliating that could have been if everyone hadn't realised what was happening. He was brought on board to change the culture which had been essentially an "old boys club" - bullying, old school nepotism and witch-hunting. Sadly the new CEO proved to be too popular and the previous "architect" of the toxic culture didn't like to see what was being achieved when people started to love coming to work and love being told what a great job they were doing. Command and control now reigns again. People being ordered back into the office when the government has recommended that people continue to work from home. Line of sight, distrusting mgmt. People want to leave and will leave. You've already got really high turnover - it's not going to improve anytime soon unless you get someone with some emotional intelligence to run the company

      Thank you for your review. We agree with you that there are great people working for us and together we help get some of the most disadvantaged people in society into the workforce. It’s work that we’re very proud of and makes us want to come to work each day. I’m sorry to read that your experience at Angus Knight wasn’t all it should have been.       A few good people trying to do the right thing

      Cons

      Toxic environment. No leadership, no training, no development. Limited internal advancement (unless you are a "mate"). No leave loading, non competitive salaries, lots of CEOs with limited knowledge or expertise who trip around Significant staff turnover. The culture of the business is non existent,

      Other Employment Consultant, helping people to find work

      Cons

      Underpaid, No Career Progression to us, lack of support and training, bonuses paid to management but not ground staff, bullying from managers, discrimination of staff by managers, never listen to feedback or ideas, always have managers working from home and never at site, no one enjoys having to work for a dictatorship in Jobfind.
