Pros
Management involve everyone in the strategy planning of the company and provide weekly updates on company developments. This creates a great sense of involvement and allows you to see how your work is making a difference. No two projects are the same, so there are always new exciting learning opportunities. Management generally assign you to work based on your strengths, but are very open to giving you a chance to grow in other areas, providing you with mentoring as needed. Great training is provided by the more senior team members. There is also a really good open feedback culture, so that you continue to learn every day. Management are incredibly supportive of work life balance. There are daily team check-ins to review priorities and share workload across the team to make sure no one is being overly stretched. There is a fantastic team ethos where everyone supports each other to get things done.
Cons
This is consulting, so work is deadline driven and can get very busy at times but the processes are there to help manage team workload. A very high standard of work is expected. Multiple iterations are often required and while this can initially be frustrating it helps you to develop a habit of getting things right first time.
