      Flexible schedule Work truck Laid back

      Very little training AFR is a not an accredited insurance company, and they've had at least two run-ins with the state insurance department. Currently, they have 2.8 out of 5 Google review rating! Yikes!

      Pros

      From top to bottom, they do a great job of hiring high quality people that you would want to work with. In the year that I worked there, I met only one unpleasant person and they did not last long because they clearly were not going to work well in this highly collaborative team environment.

      Cons

      While this great company has many wonderful people, the company is essentially ran by a board that is resistant to change. Much of the core technology is 30+ years old.

      The company is run by the board which is made up of independent agents who are more interested in taking care of themselves than helping the company grow.
